Practice bikinis! Money grab or a good thing?

We have to say yes, and not just because we sell them. There’s a number of good reasons, first being that you DON’T wear your show suit for practice! One dress rehearsal is what you get. Stage suits are delicate, and the more you wear it, the more THAT shows. Also, think about how when you get a new ‘fit to wear, and you feel like a million bucks! After you’ve worn the same outfit a couple of times, the novelty is worn off. You want that million buck feeling when you get onstage- it’s a real psychological boost!
Another good reason is when we send you a practice suit, it’s cut from our standardized patterns, which if they fit, no problem. The practice suit clearly tells us what to adjust to make your stage suit fit perfectly. Should you decide to get your stage suit here, we ask for photos and client feedback on practice suit fit, then we make a dedicated pattern with your name on it.
The last good reason to get one, is how you see yourself during posing practice. If you’re in the regulation suit cut, you see posing so much more clearly. Amazing how the suit shows you things you don’t see if you’re posing in, say, shorts and a crop top, or even a beach bikini. Beach bikinis are cut differently than stage suits. Figure/physique suits are in a league of their own, unless you happen to be hanging on to that 80’s style high leg swimwear !
Soooo, yes , it’s a pretty good investment, in our book…..
